New 'Homer' App Lets You Peek at Others' Home Screens for Apps to Grab
We're big fans of finding the latest and greatest apps to use on our various mobile devices, but it can be a bit like searching for that metaphorical needle in a haystack.
Sure, you can scan through all of the online reviews for new things to download, or attempt to navigate through the iOS and Android app stores to uncover diamonds in the rough. You can even read over various tech enthusiasts' blogs or writings to get a sense of what they use (or have found), and just copy what they've downloaded.
You could also take a page from Max Levchin, whose new app — cleverly titled "Homer" — gives you a look at what's on your friends' iOS home screens whenever they capture a screenshot of them.
